Line-up

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of previous albums and was a more powerful, constant effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the development of the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability to play was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature.
