World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade of an item upgrader kit lets players increase the gear rating of an item upgrader kit by up 700 points and also add a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like a perfectly broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition some weapons come with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. In certain instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also reroll the stats of their base. This is usually a good thing, but it can also have negative effects. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're exceptionally lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their stats. In the case of a helm or chest, it will boost the defense of its base, while gloves and belts will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it may roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain after upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. However the 3% does not mean that it will be hit for 3 times less often because it's an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the item upgrade menu. This will reroll an item and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or bind it to account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make all the difference to your survivability. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poison, fire, and magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total each of which requires you to complete a specific side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which will allow you to remain competitive in cold environments with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you can survive a raid with your comrades.

You can't upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you'll wear to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

You can also gain benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades to the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to let you escape some monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five kinds of potions, each with particular effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by making them using a craft table or in the Alchemist's chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions simply right-click on it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI that lets you choose the potion that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they will give you when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it is stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to rename it.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For example, splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item upgrader). The potion table can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. The same applies to using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will draw out the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

There are also simmering potions made with dragon breath and splash potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping and the decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a function but isn't essential, like a Thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket can be used to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.

The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold or fragments of trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade a player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl as previous one, and will include an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they are no longer useful which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually means the Best item upgrader-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries, and finally other pieces of gear that will not be replaced in the near future (for example an earring or cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players, then they should upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. However, a re-upgrade is likely to cause the trinket to be destroyed in the event that it is not saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying a new one.
