It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also offers an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as an adult cup holder. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and no components required tools. However, it's missing some critical features that we think you should consider non-negotiable for a double stroller like a large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position or rotate. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best single buggy known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to fold and fits in the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods which are turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to use a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from the baby's first days to beyond. It has a number of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets with ease.

The travel system is also offered with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use with single lightweight stroller action color coded and flip-flop-friendly.

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has a great dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and durable. The seat is well-padded and offers a large area to sit in, but the depth of the seat is less than other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin has an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. It is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most infant car seats and bassinets, but you can use them from the first day with adapters that fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and includes multiple languages.
