If you're on a tight budget and don't want a stroller that doubles as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's simple to push, and it is solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate lightweight single buggy with buggy board for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its super nimble manoeuvrability and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then select the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore has dual canopies which are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This isn't suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and it doesn't secure when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that's affordable. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction or pivot. This is useful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate while walking along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also make a broad selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It folds easily and fits into the boot of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers that we tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other items.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong unlike other pram hoods that get whipped back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum which can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It's got a few distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat between parent and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy with a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a suspension system built-in which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was easy to push, and our tester was able to maneuver the car through the narrow streets.

It folds in four simple steps and automatically locks without fuss. It can also be folded and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the car's boot. The travel system comes available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use, using a Single Pushchair sale colored and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat is reclined in several positions. It has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face one another or rotate around to face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling fights over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large bottle holder, gear tray, snack trays and an adjustable mat. It also has a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can buy for your child. It also has great safety features, including a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety straps. It also has a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type used on rival models.

The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit in, but the depth of the seat is lower than other joggers we've tried (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is equipped with an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them starting from the first day using adapters that work with brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The user manual is easy to read and comes in a variety of languages.
