This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than most of the other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, strollers that jog. However, they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is simple to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It is a bit heavier than the other strollers we tried, but the wheels are a rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be lowered to reveal UV50and sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of food. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller with you on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a lot of parents when it first appeared. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has a number of distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.
