Private ADHD Titration

There is a current national shortage of medications to treat ADHD symptoms. This is due to manufacturing problems and a growing global demand.

Our service provides Private Adhd Medication Titration (Dudoser.Com) ADHD treatment instead of waiting for NHS funding via Right to Choose. Our assessment fees include the cost of one prescription.

Titration

A highly experienced consultant psychiatrist will conduct a thorough evaluation of your ADHD. This includes a complete medical history, and an assessment using the standard ADHD questionnaires and rating scales.

After your assessment, you will be informed whether medication is appropriate for your particular situation. This will be discussed during your follow-up appointment (which could be in person, by video link, or over the phone). Your physician will explain to you the various options for medication and, if you choose to begin taking medication, we will recommend titrating the dose to optimise the benefits/side effects balance for you.

This is a process which can take several weeks, and involves adjusting the dosage of your child's medication gradually until the appropriate balance is achieved. It's not uncommon to to adjust up to three different medicines until you discover the one that best suits your child's ADHD. It's important for parents to take part in this process of titration adhd medication and keep an watchful eye on their child's behavior to let the doctor know if the medicine is helping or causing side effects.

If you decide to return to NHS treatment the medication you take will be provided with a private prescription which you will need to pay for at the pharmacy (this is not included in the consultation fee). Follow-up appointments

This can be scheduled within the first few days of your diagnosis if you are eager to begin treatment immediately, or within two weeks if prefer to take time to think about the implications of your diagnosis and the alternatives available to you.

If you are unsure of what you would prefer We suggest you speak with your GP prior to scheduling your private assessment as some providers have different policies regarding whether they require the submission of a GP referral letter or not. We also recommend that you check whether your GP accepts a 'Shared Care Agreement which means that once discharged from the clinic you will be sent back to them to get the prescription for medication.

Medication

Medication is a key part of the journey for many who are seeking a private adhd titration meaning diagnosis. It isn't always easy to obtain prescriptions from psychiatrists on the NHS. NHS waiting lists are notoriously long, and GPs may be reluctant to refer patients on to specialist services.
